Collection title ‚The Eyes of the Skin’ originated from the essays by Finnish architect Juhani Pallasmaa, which particularly inspired my collection and shaped my approach to the design process focusing on the sense of touch and emotions that accompanied it. The autumn/winter collection consists of thirteen elements that can be combined in numerous ways. It is possible not only due to the form of the designs, but also the colour scheme based on two colours and their nude shades and deep greens. The collection is made in silk, woollen and hand-knitted fabrics, dictated by sensory experiences that the material evokes. The relatively heavy and spatial materials are combined with delicate, sheer silk used to create elegant dresses and overalls that flow down the silhouette.
